This course is designed to teach Educational Consultants effective integration and development of Professional Learning Communities in an educational environment. Participants will learn effective group facilitation, training techniques, agenda setting, curriculum mapping, and specific strategies for overcoming obstacles to implementation, supported by research based practices ensured to produce positive impacts on the educational environment. After taking this course, participants will be able to construct Professional Learning Communities and design theoretically based processes aimed toward increased school improvement and student outcomes. Additionally, participants will be able to practice these skills in a safe environment. This is the third course in the instructional coaching series and will enable participants to develop and coach Professional Learning Communities in the educational environment.
